International Womens Day
Headline Event: Question Time
Venue: Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock, KA3 7BU
Time: 6.30pm - 8.30pm
This will be an informal session and an opportunity for women to discuss the challenges of juggling a family and succesful career. Panel members will be : Fiona Lees, Cheif Executive of East Ayrshre Council, Wai Yin Hatton, Cheif Executive of NHS Ayrshire and Arran, Marie Macklin, Cheif Executive of the Klin Group, Heather Dunk, Principal of Kilmarnock College, Fiona Skilling, General manager of CVO Ltd East Ayrshire and will be Chaired by Provost Stephanie Young.
Open to: This session is open to all women who work and live in East Ayrshire.

An Anti-Stigma Workshop will take place on the following date:
Tuesday, 7th February 2012 9.30am – 11am Training Room 2, Training Centre, Ayrshire Central Hospital, Irvine
The aim of these short sessions is to raise awareness, challenge and attempt to change attitudes on stigma towards individuals with mental health issues
Learning Outcomes:
Following these sessions it is anticipated that the attendee will:
• Be familiar with attitudes in relation to the derogatory terms associated with mental health
• Demonstrate an understanding of where the word 'stigma' originates
• Be aware of the link between reducing stigma as an aid to recovery
• Increased knowledge of mental health issues
