I was born and bred in Galston and on the odd occasion attended school there.
I have worked for Vesuvius UK for the past 35 years, before that I worked in the building trade, Glenfield and Kennedy and Loudonhill Sand Quarry.
After marrying (and growing up) the children came along and they decided to go along to the local group. There I got roped into the fundraising committee.
After trying to fill in the Lottery form, making mistakes and generally failing I was put in touch with a rep from the CVO (John Houston) and help ensued. The rest, as they say, is history. |
